Nadine Vassallo is a Philadelphia-born New York City transplant, eternally searching for a decent place to watch the Phillies on the Lower East Side. She fondly remembers childhood trips to the 700-level of the Vet and wishes she still had that John Kruk caricature t-shirt from 1993.

Lauren Mancuso is a Connecticut-born Philadelphia transplant whose dad once coached against Rico Brogna. She enjoys playing catch, drinking beer, feeding jukeboxes, and waxing nostalgic about everything baseball. She fondly remembers an entire bar erupting into “High Hopes” after the Phillies beat the Reds in 2010’s NLDS.

Scoring Position was created to give us an outlet for our coffee and music-fueled thoughts about baseball and to help make sports safe for girls, nerds, punks, and weirdos.
